The Utes and the Y played this year!
We all dressed up in our team colors, ate food, and the Utes won!
Zack has been 'ordered' to wear bands 24/7. He is good about wearing them at night, but he does NOT like to have to put them in and take them out at school to eat. The Orthodontist said that the more he wears the bands, the sooner his bite gets corrected and he gets the braces off...
We've had a good amount of snow this winter. We have to keep the back porch shoveled since that is how the kids walk home from school. Apparently, Zack still eats snow!
Zack is just waiting for the day that he is taller than me.
I have to show him who's boss and pin him to the floor!
Cam's Egyptian Museum. He partnered with 2 'smart' girls whom took it upon themselves to make the poster presentable and added Cam for the humorous part ...wrapping himself in tons of toilet paper and laying in the mummy coffin for a long time! He helped with a little research too ;)

Luke's team had a great indoor season.
Luke's last month as a Wolf. His leaders, the Johannassens, have had a lot of good times and sacrificed a lot of their time for these crazy boys!

Ash was glad to be done with basketball! I'm glad she tried it. She loved her coach and friends and got pretty cocky when she played against an all-boy team from her school!
Ash lost one of her front teeth (December 10th) and we were all hoping she would lose the 2nd one before Christmas so she could sing "All I Want for Christmas is my 2 Front Teeth!" They were both resting upon each other so when the 1st one fell out, the other tooth went sideways!
It happened!! She lost the 2nd tooth on December 22nd! Just in time!!
The Lightens had Luke and Ashlyn over for a day and they played in the snow the entire time! They built a snow fort and went sledding. They ate dinner inside the fort...totally inside...all of them in there at the same time! All 3 of these girls happened to be asking for their 2 front teeth for Christmas!!

I helped with some work during the holidays at Brandon's work. I called on availability at Convention Centers, hotels, Country Clubs, etc for them to hold their seminars. It wasn't a fun job, but they paid me well and I could do it from home. I went in to the office one day to get trained, and when I left, this is what I saw in the 'owners circle' of the parking lot...a collection of Range Rovers! Kind of funny and ridiculous at the same time!
I spotted Thurl Bailey at one of Cam's basketball games.
His son played against Cam, and Thurl pulled up a chair and sat right behind us, so I asked him if I could take Heather's picture with him!
It was nice to have all of the snow so that we had something to do over Winter Break!
These older boys tried blocking us with their sleds, but we plowed right through them! I'm not sure if they knew Heather and I were adults!! Haha!
Brandon loved pulling sleds on the roads behind the 4 wheeler before the plows would clear the streets. The boys would make some jumps and we would all take turns riding!
I only make Christmas cards every other year and this was my 'off' year!
Brandon still wanted to take a family picture so he could post it on social media.

This year was the Maughan's year. We had breakfast and gifts at Jeri's house. We also all got to take turns face timing with Camry, and Bryton and Allison got engaged and were taking selfies with Taysia's new Polaroid!
During the afternoon, we had Papa, Debbie, and Heather over. I asked my dad for a flashlight...he gave me several...like over 30 in different shapes, sizes, bulbs, watts, colors, and uses!
My dad got Heather and me each a hover board! That's what the boys asked for, so they got pretty jealous! So between the one Brandon got at work and our 2 new ones, we had 3 for the boys to share ;) They got the hang of riding them really fast, Zack connected the blue tooth for music, and they choreographed a show together!
Papa has a thing with ties
...and also being politically correct, so he feels like he has to wear more than 1 tie at a time!
We went back to Jeri's for the extended Maughan family dinner. It was a house full and ALL of Brandon's cousins showed up at one point or another that evening.

Brandon's work party was themed "Fire and Ice." It was great this year that I actually knew some people, and 1 that I really like (Cassie!) It was at a Convention Center. We had dinner, then they had a photo booth, fire dancers, desserts, and more dancing!
Brandon's boss gave him a hover board! He gave them to several people in the office, so for the month of December, that was how they all got around!

During the kids Christmas program, the school allows the parents of the current grade to come to the front and take pictures. I found it fun to take a picture of all the parents taking pictures of their kids!
All of Zack's Christmas shopping was done on Amazon! All he wanted was electronics!
iPhone charging case, Blue Tooth Head Phones, Watch, etc. Zack was Great Grandma Lila's side kick for awhile on Christmas!
All Cam wanted was white high top Converse...and Santa brought them! They matched Aubrey's, so when they face timed with Camry, they showed her. Camry got a good laugh! His stocking was full of combs since he loves his hair so much! I helped in his class party because I realized that this is his last year in Elementary and I won't have another chance! Cam was a wise man with Zack and Jo. The boys LOVE when Jo is around!
All Luke wanted was an air soft gun. Santa brought it! Luke stood next to Emma in the school program. She's a good head taller than he is but they kept smiling at each other! Luke played a crazy shepherd in the Price's nativity!
Ashlyn was jumping with excitement when she got the American Girl Juke Box! She played the songs and danced around all day and we ALL have the songs memorized! Ash also wanted a big stuffed animal that she could sleep with and she got a huge soft caterpillar that she named Lily. Ash played Mary in the Nativity, and Baby Jesus (Charlie) was pretty heavy, so she let him stand by his bed instead of hold him ;)

On New Years Eve, we went to Jeri's. We ate dinner and played games...well past midnight! Cam beat everyone at Monopoly!
