11.11.11

Kind of a neat date! What makes it even more cool, is that Brandon and I got engaged 11 years ago today!!
Story of our engagement day:
Brandon and I were going to the Temple that day but along the way he detoured and went to the airport. He had chartered a 4 seater airplane and arranged a pilot! When we got there, it was so cold, that the plane was frozen and the propellors wouldn't spin!! (B, that should have been your red flag, right there!!) But we decided that we would wait a couple hours to see if it would thaw! We walked around downtown for awhile and then went back to the airport. The plane would still not start! The pilot was able to find another 4 seater plane that the owner allowed us to take. I've always loved flying, but that small plane was so bumpy (probably because of the cold air pockets all over in the atmosphere that morning), that I will never ride in anything that small again! It was a clear day, but cold! We flew to Logan. Since we had major delays (like any other airline!) we didn't have time to do a session so we walked around the Temple where Brandon nervously popped the question! I obviously said "YES!" We had time to drive around and I showed Brandon some of my favorite places that I discovered when I went to college there. We picked up some chocolates at my favorite restaurant on Main, The BlueBird. Then headed back to the airport to get in our little airplane to fly home. I still remember that flight. Brandon got to help navigate and he wore the big earphones! (I need to figure out where those pictures are so I can post some!) I was very excited to get home safely with my new fiance!! And we are living happily ever after 11 years later on 11.11.11!
